There has been plenty of news surrounding the New York Jets this offseason.
Most recently, star edge-rusher Haason Reddick, who was traded from the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this offseason, is searching for a raise from the team.
He has been away from the team as he awaits that raise.
Insider Rich Cimini recently detailed on social media why Reddick is searching for a new deal.
“…Haason Reddick has been among the top pass rushers over the last few years, which is why the Jets traded for him and why he wants a raise,” Cimini wrote on X.

Over the last four seasons, Reddick has led the league in total strip sacks (13) and is ranked 3rd in pass rush wins (51).
The All-Pro defender has 58.0 career sacks and has really exploded as of late.
Despite playing with the Cardinals, the Panthers and the Eagles all in the last four years, he has turned in four consecutive 10-sack seasons.
He ranks fourth in the league in sacks over the last four years (50.5).
If the Jets can find a way to ink the 29-year-old to a bigger deal, they will be set up for the future defensively.
Reddick, Quinnen Williams and Jermaine Johnson are the Pro Bowl defensive linemen up front.
Quincy Williams and C.J. Mosely are the All-Pro linebackers.
Sauce Gardner is the All-Pro cornerback, and D.J. Reed is another shutdown corner too.
This whole unit is why quarterback Aaron Rodgers doesn’t need to be his old MVP self.
If he just plays 75% of what he used to be, this is a Super Bowl-caliber team.
