As soon as he was born, people predicted Bronny James would make it to the NBA.
The years have gone by, and he hasn’t shown anything to prove that he could be a one-and-done player, and chances are he wouldn’t be on any team’s radar if it wasn’t for his last name.
That’s why plenty of analysts have taken offense to the fact that he’s nitpicking the teams he wants to work or interview for as if he were a top-tier prospect.
Notably, that includes Evan Cohen.
Talking on ESPN’s UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio show, Cohen claimed that Bronny would be better off going undrafted, adding that he should just tell NBA teams that he doesn’t want to be drafted at this point.

Cohen claimed that Bronny doesn’t seem to want to play in the NBA; he just wants to play with his father on the Los Angeles Lakers.
Of course, that’s perfectly valid, and this is all Rich Paul pulling the strings behind the scenes, but it’s still not a good look.
Cohen acknowledged that everybody has nothing but great things to say about Bronny, adding that he wasn’t to blame for his late start to the college basketball season due to suffering from a heart condition.
Even so, this is just not good.
Granted, Bronny could still become a very good NBA player, perhaps even a star, and no one can question his work ethic or passion for the game.
But what about the future?
He’s getting a pass now because LeBron is still playing, but he won’t be able to hide behind him once he’s no longer in the league.
