Bronny James is about to become an NBA player.

That was always the expectation.

However, the circumstances are far different from what most people expected.

There has been plenty of buzz surrounding Bronny and whether he’s going to play with LeBron James or not.

Also, while there has been some interest in Bronny as a player, the fact that he’s turned down multiple workouts and interviews makes it seem like he’s nitpicking his preferred destination.

That would make sense for a top-tier prospect or a young player who had already proved himself to be an NBA-caliber talent, and Bronny is neither.

With that in mind, sports analyst Craig Carton claimed that he wasn’t an NBA player, and the fact that LeBron is finally giving up on hopes of playing with him at the next level is a sign of that.

Talking on The Carton Show, he claimed that LeBron and Rich Paul finally realized that, as good a kid as Bronny might be, they simply cannot hold a team hostage and force them to take Bronny.

Truth be told, James does have enough power and leverage in the league to do so, but that would be counterproductive.

Not only would it hamper Bronny’s reputation earlier in his career, but also, what about when James is retired?

At the end of the day, Bronny will have to earn his stripes just like everybody else, regardless of his last name, his gene pool, or having the best agent in the entire NBA.
