With the NBA offseason officially underway following the Boston Celtics winning a league-record 18th NBA title earlier this week, rumors and speculation have begun swirling around the league about notable players potentially being on the move this summer.
Although all eyes are currently on big-name players like Paul George and LeBron James, as some are wondering if one or both of these superstars might be leaving Los Angeles, there are a few veterans that could change teams and make an immediate impact on their new squad.
One of those players is veteran forward Tobias Harris, who has spent the last six seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, but all signs point to him leaving the City of Brotherly Love in free agency, with the team wanting to go in another direction.
Although Harris has never been a superstar or a major piece of the puzzle for the teams he’s played on up to this point, he’s been pretty consistent and can put up 15 to 20 points a game on any given night.
That said, he’ll receive some interest around the league when he becomes a free agent next week, with Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report saying there are five teams in particular that will show interest via NBA Central.
“He’s motivated to prove people wrong,” Haynes said.
Dallas, San Antonio, Detroit, Utah, and New Orleans are expected to show interest in Tobias Harris, per @ChrisBHaynes

The Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio Spurs, Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz and New Orleans Pelicans are among the teams that could reach out to Harris this summer.
The Mavericks and Pelicans are potentially title contenders or on the cusp moving forward while the Spurs, Pistons, and Jazz are rebuilding, but will have the cap space to give him a decent offer.
