This summer’s free agency could be very consequential, with multiple stars moving around the league.
One player who may be heading to a different franchise is Kris Dunn, the Utah Jazz guard who has been in the league for eight years.
According to Jonathan Givony, per Evan Sidery, NBA executives think Dunn could be moved to the Phoenix Suns this offseason.
“Dunn, one of the NBA’s most underrated defenders, could sign in Phoenix on the veteran’s minimum while securing a strong spot within their rotation,” Givony wrote.
Rival executives are pegging Kris Dunn to the Suns as a possible free agent fit, per @DraftExpress (https://t.co/RUGNKKDKnH).

Dunn posted 5.4 rebounds, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game in 2023–24, but his impact on the team goes well beyond those numbers.
As noted, Dunn is a very strong defender who could greatly improve the Suns’ roster in a crucial way.
With the likes of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and others, the Suns are clearly a team focused on offense.
That means they need to improve their game on the defensive end of the court.
Dunn could definitely give them a boost in that way.
The Suns would like to make several major moves this summer, especially because their postseason run ended in such a disappointing way.
But they don’t have a lot of options because they are strapped for cash after spending so much to get their current big three.
That means they need to look for under-the-radar stars who can assist them, such as Dunn.
Phoenix will have to radically alter how they play if they wish to have a great season next year.
They already have a new head coach and, according to this report, they might have new talent coming too.
