Following another disappointing performance in the FIBA World Cup, Grant Hill and Team USA assembled an Avengers-like squad for the Olympics.

This will most likely be the last dance for some veteran stars, such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry.

They’ll be joined by some of the rising stars of the game, and it’ll be tough for everybody to get minutes with so much talent on the roster.

However, despite his youth, oddsmakers at Bovada believe that Anthony Edwards is going to lead the way for the Americans, at least when it comes to scoring (via NBA Central).

Anthony Edwards is the favorite to lead Team USA in scoring at this year’s Olympics, per @BovadaOfficial

Stephen Curry +600

The Minnesota Timberwolves star has +475 odds to be the leading scorer, followed by the likes of Joel Embiid, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, and Devin Booker.

Near the bottom of the list, we find Tyrese Haliburton (+3500), Jrue Holiday (+7500), and Bam Adebayo (+1000), all of which will most likely be backups.

Edwards has gotten better every season and is coming off a breakout campaign for the Timberwolves.

He was a part of the team that failed to get the job done in the FIBA World Cup, and he could certainly use another summer of elite conditioning with that program.

He has a competitive fire within him and the desire to be great, and once he gets in proper shape, there will be no limits for him or his game.

Perhaps, he’ll introduce himself to the rest of the world in Paris.
