Paul George could be ending his time with the Los Angeles Clippers soon.
Many people assume that George will depart from the Clippers, although those same people state that he wants to remain with Los Angeles if a deal is possible.
But what sort of deal does George want?
According to Marc Stein, George is seeking a four-year contract with the Clippers but the team wants to give him something smaller, such as the three-year extension they signed with Kawhi Leonard in January.

Stein noted that George’s desire is to keep playing for the Clippers, which would make sense considering he likes the team and is from Los Angeles.
But he will only do so for the right price and, as of now, the Clippers aren’t willing to agree to that.
If George isn’t able to get this deal with the Clippers, he could try his luck elsewhere in the league.
But will any team be ready to give him a four-year contract like he wants?
There are a few teams reportedly intrigued by landing George but they might not be willing to give him the exact amount he desires.
George averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in the 2023–24 season, shooting 47.1% from the floor and 41.3% from beyond the three-point line.
He is still a very good player and was doing great things for the Clippers, but they once again fell short in the playoffs.
Is that why the Clippers aren’t willing to give him the extension he wants?
Do they feel that it’s time to move on from the George era and try their hand without him?
Or do they think he will agree to lower terms?
Negotiations between George and the Clippers seem to be moving slowly without many developments, so we could be hearing news about him leaving the team soon.
