NBA players tend to be some of the most interesting characters in professional sports.
Whether it’s revealing more of their personalities on podcasts and interviews, or simply sharing various tidbits on social media, fans continue to get a glimpse inside some of their most outlandish antics.
This was put on full display after a recent tweet from NBA Central, which highlighted a unique tattoo from an NBA player.
In this video, Brooklyn Nets center, Nic Claxton, revealed a tattoo on his inner lip that says “punk.”

The meaning of this tattoo is unknown, but it certainly reinforces the point that NBA players are interesting people.
While Claxton might be excited about his new tattoo and wants to show the world his new accessory, he will need to turn his attention to something more serious in the coming months.
Claxton is currently a free agent and is viewed as one of the best available targets for teams in the offseason.
He has been a meaningful contributor for the Nets at this point in his career, but if the team doesn’t give him a contract that is in line with his worth, he could end up walking in free agency.
The Nets have a lot of other players and contracts to consider, so it remains to be seen if they’ll extend a high enough offer to Claxton.
Punk tattoo or not, Claxton seemingly has a lot to offer an NBA organization, whether it’s the Nets or another team.
