The Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks completed the first move of a potentially eventful offseason.
Then, they doubled down on that by making a big transaction with the Houston Rockets to regain control of their first-round draft picks.
However, it seems like Sean Marks is far from done.
According to Evan Sidery of Forbes Sports, the Nets remain active in trade talks leading to the NBA Draft, so don’t be shocked if they continue to offload players to add more draft picks in return.

Cameron Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith figure to be very valuable trade assets, with multiple championship contenders benefitting from their services.
They also have Dennis Schroder and the recently acquired Bojan Bogdanovic, who make up for intriguing trade or buyout options for them.
Lastly, they could also entertain some sign-and-trade possibilities regarding Nic Claxton, now that they’ve cleared plenty of cap space.
Sean Marks drew some criticism in the aftermath of the Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden fiasco.
It didn’t seem like he had gotten enough value in return for his trio of stars.
Now, he’s turned Durant into a huge draft haul, which is more than a decent return, dare I say.
The Nets will be one of the worst teams in the league for the next couple of seasons, but they now have enough draft capital to get back on their feet.
This time, losing is winning.
