The New York Knicks have officially gotten the band back together.
Not too long ago Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Josh Hart, and Donte DiVincenzo won a national championship at Villanova.
Now, they’re teammates again, this time with the pros.
This is every coach’s dream, and Jay Wright and his coaching staff deserve plenty of credit for their recruiting and player development.
More than teammates, they grew to be friends and almost brothers, and they now have an opportunity to do something as unprecedented as special.
That’s why even Brunson, who most likely knew what was going on before it happened, was shocked to see that the Knicks pulled off a trade for Bridges, showing his excitement on Twitter with just one word: OMG.

Last season, the Knicks showed that chemistry matters as much as talent.
Despite not having the most prominent names out there and a major string of injuries, the Villanova trio rose to the occasion night in and night out.
Now, they’ve added their second-best player, who also happens to be an outstanding defender and a true Iron Man, meaning he checks all of Tom Thibodeau’s boxes.
This is a heartwarming moment for fans, but it’s obviously not just about getting four former college teammates together on the same team; it’s about winning, and they clearly know how to win together.
The New York Knicks have been stuck in a mediocrity spiral for way too long, but it seems like they’re finally ready to blossom and thrive again.
