The Brooklyn Nets have officially entered full rebuild mode.

With Mikal Bridges out and getting a massive haul in return, the rest of their roster might be up for grabs now.

With that in mind, Evan Sidery of Forbes Sports reports that multiple teams will keep an eye on their players, particularly Cam Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith.

With Mikal Bridges traded to their crosstown rival, the Nets will officially pivot into rebuilding mode.

Johnson never lived up to the expectations that come with being such a high draft pick, but he can shoot the lights out, and he can play multiple spots while not being a total defensive liability.

As for Finney-Smith, he’s the kind of small forward that could suit multiple championship contenders, as he’s an outstanding wing defender who can guard one through five, and he can also knock down a couple of shots here and there.

The Nets are going to go through some tough seasons over the next couple of years, but they have plenty of draft capital.

They could also look to part ways with veterans like Dennis Schroder and the recently acquired Bojan Bogdanovic, adding even more draft capital.

This is the kind of move the Nets desperately needed to make after the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving situation backfired, but it’s better late than never.
