The Houston Rockets are working behind closed doors.
The Brooklyn Nets got most of the attention for the Mikal Bridges, but the Rockets were also lurking and making sneaky moves.
Some believe that they could be bracing themselves to make a run for Kevin Durant.
Ime Udoka coached him as an assistant with the Nets, and they want to win now.
With that in mind, Brian Windhorst of ESPN believes the Rockets could be very aggressive in trying to trade for him, up to the point where they could even offer Alperen Sengun to get him (via Get Up & NBA Central).
The Rockets could dangle Alperen Sengun in a potential trade for Kevin Durant, per @WindhorstESPN

The Rockets currently have the No. 3 pick in the NBA Draft and several big men.
So, if they get Donovan Clingan out of UConn, who is reportedly a strong candidate, that would pave the way for them to move Sengun to the Phoenix Suns.
Windhorst also explained that the Rockets had acquired the Suns’ first-round picks, which they could use to convince them to send them Durant.
Durant reportedly hasn’t requested a trade, and the Suns have no intentions of moving him.
However, getting control of their draft again while also landing the Rockets’ best young player in Sengun could change the entire equation.
As for Houston, it would hurt to part ways with such a talented player, but they still have a great young core of players.
