Former Pro Bowl wide receiver Randall Cobb and his family recently avoided tragedy in their Nashville home.
A fire that was caused by a Tesla charger in their garage nearly burned down their home.
Thankfully, everyone is okay as Cobb wrote on social media.
“Thank you all for the love and positive messages…we are all safe and healthy…I truly thought the cars were going to explode…this has been a reminder that nothing is more important than the health of our family,” Cobb recently posted on Instagram.
Cobb also posted videos and pictures of his garage after the fire took place.
The good news is that a very scary situation was handled thanks to the help of Nashville firefighters and the community.
Cobb, now 33, has been an NFL wide receiver for the last 13 years.
Most notably, he spent a decade with legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers while with the Packers.
He ranks in the top 10 in franchise history among wide receivers in touchdowns (47), receptions (532) and games played (130).
He has also played for the Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, and most recently, the New York Jets.
The former second-round draft choice out of Kentucky has not officially retired but has not been seen with the Jets at all this offseason after his one-year deal expired at the conclusion of the 2023 season.
But right now, it is not the time to talk about football.
The important thing is that Cobb and his family are doing okay after a very scary situation took place.
