The Minnesota Timberwolves have been uber-aggressive in the past two offseasons.
First, they gave a massive haul to land Rudy Gobert.
Now, they traded way up in the NBA Draft to land PG Rob Dillingham.
This wasn’t a star-studded draft class by any means, but Dillingham was one of the most intriguing prospects available.
As a matter of fact, Draymond Green thinks the Timberwolves won the draft by getting him.
In the latest edition of his podcast, the four-time NBA champion stated that plenty of teams would regret passing on Dillingham (via The Volume & ClutchPoints).
“The Minnesota Timberwolves won the draft because they drafted their point guard of the future… there’s gonna be some teams that’s gonna regret passing Rob Dillingham”

Green compared Dillingham’s situation with Stephen Curry’s.
Ironically, the Timberwolves passed on Curry twice back in the day, so they didn’t want to make that mistake again.
Per Green, it was all about some decision-makers being afraid that Dillingham might not fit in their systems, while they should’ve been thinking the other way around.
The Golden State Warriors star thinks Dillingham’s ‘swag’ may have also scared some teams away.
The Kentucky product can clearly put the ball through the hoop.
The only legitimate concern is whether he’s going to be able to overcome his defensive woes to make a positive impact on the game.
Even so, he has the potential to be their point guard of the future, and their backcourt could be a problem for opposing teams if he fulfills his potential next to Anthony Edwards.
Worst-case-scenario, Dillingham could be a legitimate candidate for Sixth Man of the Year for years to come.
