Earlier this week, the Brooklyn Nets made it abundantly clear that the team is ready to blow up their roster and start from scratch, as they traded star Mikal Bridges to the New York Knicks in a blockbuster deal, officially beginning what appears to be a fire sale.
Despite the consensus that the Nets wanted to hold onto Bridges and build around him moving forward, Brooklyn seems to have come to terms with the fact that rebuilding is the smartest option right now, meaning the struggling franchise could make more trades this summer.
With the fire sale seemingly underway in Brooklyn, there’s been a lot of speculation about what will happen to the players on the roster that could be viewed as valuable to other teams, like Cam Johnson.
Johnson seems to be the one player on the Nets roster that many teams are showing trade interest in, as he’s the ideal role player who can light it up from beyond the arc.
According to Mike Scotto of Hoops Hype, four teams have expressed interest in trading for Johnson, with the Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers and Toronto Raptors potentially competing to get a deal done with the Nets via Evan Sidery of Forbes.

Ironically enough, the Raptors are in the same position as the Nets right now as they’ve been trading players left and right but are keeping star forward Scottie Barnes.
However, the three other teams are looking to find the missing pieces to the championship puzzle, with the Kings, Magic and Pacers all being a force to be reckoned with and would significantly improve their roster with the addition of Johnson.
