We saw a lot of Taylor Swift on the sidelines at Kansas City Chiefs games this past season, and the NFL ate it up by showing her sitting in the box any chance they could, especially if her boyfriend Travis Kelce scored a touchdown.

After so many instances of Taylor supporting Travis in his career, it was time for Travis to return the favor this offseason, and he recently did so by making a surprise appearance in one of Taylor’s shows on her ‘Eras’ tour.

In a recent episode of “New Heights,” Travis told his brother, Jason, that the on-stage performance was actually his idea.

Travis’ original idea involved him riding out onto the stage on a bike, but an audible was called because having a giant football player riding a bike on a stage could have put the backup dancers in danger.

Instead, Taylor had Travis play a part in the ‘Tortured Poets Department’ section of her set, and Travis donned a tuxedo and resuscitated Taylor before she performed I Can Do It With A Broken Heart and carried her over to a couch, thankfully not dropping her.

Travis told Jason, “It was a blast, man. I had so much fun. It was an honor being on stage.”

Training camp starts in a few weeks, so it’s nice that Travis found the time to coordinate an onstage appearance with Taylor.

Maybe now that Jason is retired, fans will get lucky enough to have him perform alongside Taylor at some point.
