The Philadelphia 76ers have been working on “The Process” for several years.
This movement was supposed to help grow the roster from the ground up, hoping it would propel them to great success in the seasons to follow.
While the 76ers have certainly looked the part in recent years, they have been unable to make it to and win the NBA Finals.
They have tried to go outside of their drafted players to acquire free agents and fresh talent, but so far, nothing has worked.
If recent attitudes surrounding the team are any indication, Paul George could be the player that helps turn this team around.
Tyrese Maxey recently appeared on the Takeoff Podcast, where he talked about what this team could look like with George on the roster.
He said, “The sky is the limit,” indicating that George could help change the tides, inspiring change and success moving forward.

George’s veteran presence could go a long way with this team, seeing that they are a mixture of young and older players.
If he can play similarly to how he did in Los Angeles over the next few years, there’s no telling what the ceiling is for the 76ers.
Maxey, George, and Joel Embiid would be the “big three” for this team, something the 76ers have strived for during their attempts at building the team up.
In an increasingly crowded Eastern Conference, teams need to do whatever they can to try and stand out and make a name for themselves, which is what the 76ers are trying to do with George.
