Bronny James made his father proud recently when he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers.

With that signing, the Lakers provided NBA fans with one of the biggest storylines for next season and got people wondering what it’ll look like when LeBron and Bronny play together.

But will they actually get to suit up with one another often in 2024-25?

There is a chance that Bronny spends much of his time with the G League in his rookie year, meaning he wouldn’t be making many appearances alongside his father.

However, Craig Carton doesn’t think that’s happening.

On the latest episode of “The Carton Show,” he stated that Bronny will be on the court during NBA games.

“They did not go through all this trouble to draft him into the NBA to put him on the G League,” Carton claimed.

Bronny was picked toward the end of the draft, which would usually mean he would be in the G League a lot.

But this isn’t just any rookie and the Lakers want to see Bronny in games with his father.

Plus, fans and the media are also eager to see Bronny play in big matches, not just with the G League.

In all likelihood, Bronny will play with the G League often in his first year.

With that being said, he will also get to appear in NBA games too, even if it’s not regularly.

In fact, there is a chance that Bronny plays with his dad during the opening week of the season, which will be a much-talked-about moment that will receive a ton of press.

But after a few games, he will have to prove himself or be sent down to the G League, despite the historic nature of his signing.
