The Atlanta Hawks are shaking things up this offseason and have already parted ways with Dejounte Murray, who was sent down to the New Orleans Pelicans.
But more changes could be coming and they might also say goodbye to their long-time star, Trae Young.
However, few teams are eager to sign Young right now.
According to Zach Lowe, per Evan Sidery, the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs have shown “little interest” in trading for Young.
Lowe states that Young’s trade value has never been so low so it’s not clear which team he will be sent to.

Young posted 25.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 10.8 rebounds last season, proving that he is still one of the most talented guards in the league.
Despite that, other teams have grown lukewarm on him over the last few seasons.
Perhaps it’s because the Hawks have struggled so much or maybe it is because of rumors of Young not working well with his coaches, but the perception of the 25-year-old guard has suffered.
The Lakers and Spurs were two teams commonly attached to Young but it seems that both are moving on from him.
However, perhaps the Hawks will lower their asking price for Young and he will be sent to either location.
If the price is right, the Lakers or Spurs may change their minds.
In the right environment, with the right squad and coach, Young could help several teams.
The Hawks might also choose to hold onto Young if they decide they won’t get a big enough return for him.
A few months ago, it seemed like he would be scooped up quickly during free agency but now Young’s future is very murky.
