The Milwaukee Bucks are ready to part ways with big man Brook Lopez but they are demanding a lot for him.
Will they be able to acquire the haul they want?
According to Gery Woelfel, per NBACentral, the Bucks are seeking a first-round pick for Lopez.
That is a high asking price and the Bucks might have trouble attaining it.

Lopez is a very talented 36-year-old center who averaged 12.5 points and 5.2 rebounds last season.
He has done a lot for the Bucks during his six years with them but the team is starting to move in a new direction under the leadership of head coach Doc Rivers.
However, they don’t want to lose him for just anything and are demanding a first-round draft pick.
Although Lopez might be worth that, it’s hard to imagine many teams jumping at the chance to give up such a high draft pick for a player who will be 40 in just four years.
Beyond his age, Lopez is also expensive and has a $23 million contract tied to him.
That will only make him less attractive to potential suitors.
Does this mean the Bucks will stick with Lopez in the new season, even though they are changing things up?
That seems unlikely at this point and Lopez is one of several players who will likely be moving during this offseason.
Lopez is a strong player and a fan favorite but the Bucks are desperate to get back to the Finals and are willing to make any changes that they think will help them do that.
This means that Lopez’s days in Milwaukee are numbered but the team just needs to find someone to trade with them.
