The Chicago Bulls will most likely have to part ways with DeMar DeRozan.

As good a player as he is for Billy Donovan’s team, he should be better off playing for a championship contender at this point in his career, and the Bulls shouldn’t commit big money to an aging player as they look to rebuild.

Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean they won’t get anything for their star free agent.

According to a report by Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, any team looking to sign the Compton native will most likely have to engage in a sign-and-trade scenario with the Bulls (via Evan Sidery).

Per Haynes’ report, the Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, and Sacramento Kings are all interested in DeRozan.

The Clippers, Heat and Kings are all involved in the DeMar DeRozan sign-and-trade sweepstakes, per @ChrisBHaynes (https://t.co/OF10XH7F7o).

The Kings would make perfect sense for the former Toronto Raptors star, as they have a strong, playoff-caliber team that could use another 20-points-per-game scorer, even if spacing could be an issue.

The same can be said of the Heat, as floor-spacing with him and Jimmy Butler might be far from ideal, but Pat Riley’s side clearly needs another shot-maker if they want to get over the hump once and for all.

As for the Clippers, the idea of heading back home should be quite enticing for the USC star, but they might not be as good as they used to be now that Paul George has left the premises.

Whatever the case, one thing’s for sure: DeRozan’s days in the Windy City have come to an end already.
