Kevin Durant is, without a doubt, one of the most talented players the NBA has ever seen.
Likewise, he’s perhaps also one of the most sensitive players in terms of thoughts or reactions about him.
Unlike most millionaires and successful athletes, Durant often takes a couple of minutes of his day to hit back at fans who bash him on social media, and the same goes for reporters.
Recently, he was asked about all the rumors about him potentially being traded during the NBA Draft, and, truth to form, he didn’t hesitate to take a swipe at the media.
Talking to Yahoo Sports, Durant claimed that it was hard not to listen to what everybody was saying around him, adding that the media just ‘pushed a button’ to get some rumors about him out there because that was the only way to keep people engaged at this time of the year:
“You could just press the ‘KD want to leave’ button anytime you want some attention,” Durant told Yahoo Sports.

It is easy to hear what people have to say about you, especially if you’re a world-class millionaire athlete.
Durant has been spotted using burner accounts to defend himself.
Also, the rumors never stated that he wanted to leave; they read that other teams wanted to trade for him.
Given the way his career has panned out since he left the Oklahoma City Thunder, it’s hard to blame the fans for thinking he might want to leave his team again.
