The Cincinnati Bengals are just lying in the weeds ready to pounce.
After franchise quarterback Joe Burrow had his 2023 season cut short due to injury, he is hungry to put on a good show this year.
“I’m going to give people something to talk about this year. I’m excited about it,” Burrow recently said on Pardon My Take.

Keep in mind that the Bengals are just three years removed from a Super Bowl appearance.
They have won a total of 31 games in the regular season over the last three years and before last season, they made the AFC Championship Game in back-to-back seasons.
This team is a different animal with a healthy Joe Burrow.
The Ohio native and former Heisman Trophy winner can put his team on his back and deliver in big-time situations.
Remember, the Bengals hadn’t made the Super Bowl since the 1988 season and missed the playoffs in six consecutive seasons before Burrow and the Bengals took the league by storm in 2021.
With All-Pro wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and 1,000-yard pass-catcher Tee Higgins back in the fold for this year, this team can accomplish anything.
Heading into 2024, the Bengals will need to contend with the Kansas City Chiefs, the Houston Texans, the rival Baltimore Ravens, and any other hungry teams looking to make a big leap in 2024.
With Burrow back under center (career passer rating of 98.6), this team can win its first-ever Super Bowl.
