Stephen Curry is already a first-ballot Hall of Famer and one of the best players the NBA and the game of basketball has ever seen.
He can do things with the basketball that not many other people could even dream of, whether it’s with his handles, his dribble, or his shot.
Nonetheless, as skilled as he is and as much work as he has put into his craft throughout the course of his career, there’s still one thing he just can’t figure out how to do, and that’s spinning a basketball with his finger.
He was asked to do so during Team USA’s photoshoot, and the four-time NBA champion admitted that he was embarrassed by the fact that he had never been able to do so (via ClutchPoints).
“That’s one of the most embarrassing things of just me.”

Moreover, he even stated that he got nervous at the thought of it.
That’s kind of crazy, as it’s literally one of the first things that one would imagine any professional basketball player would be able to do with ease; it’s even portrayed that way in cartoons.
Then again, that happens, and he’ll just have to settle for being the greatest shooter to ever walk the face of the Earth.
Even so, Curry is a competitive guy with an elite work ethic, so now that the secret is out there, he might put in some extra reps every day and get one of his Team USA teammates to teach him how to cross this thing off his bucket list.
