The Boston Celtics have finally done what their doubters, analysts, fans, and even rival players urged them to do.
They got over the hump once and for all, and they proved that they could win a championship with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown at the helm.
Of course, they had plenty of help from the best supporting cast in all of basketball as well.
That’s why, now that they’ve put some rings on those fingers, fellow Celtics forward Sam Hauser wanted to put an end to all the doubt and criticism.
Talking to Chris Long for his Green Light podcast, the veteran claimed that it just didn’t make sense that people continued to doubt them after all they had done, even before winning that ring.

The knock on them was that they couldn’t win together or that they choked under pressure, and they shut down both narratives this season.
Needless to say, that’s the kind of burden that comes with being a top-three pick and playing for the Boston Celtics, but they were just two young players going through some growing pains, just like everybody else.
They will now enter next season with the confidence of being the defending champions and two guys that have already been there and done that, meaning no challenge will ever be overwhelming or big enough for them to crumble like they used to do.
And even if they never win another championship, which seems unlikely, no one will be able to take this accomplishment away from them.
