After 11 years, Klay Thompson is moving to a new team and will play for the Dallas Mavericks next season.
Ideally, Thompson will add a lot to his team although no one can deny he just had a very tough final season with the Golden State Warriors.
Despite those problems, Thompson still has faith in himself and the road ahead.
According to BASKETBALL On X, per NBACentral, Thompson sent a warning to his opponents.
“At this point in my career, you still can’t leave me open,” Thompson said.

Last season featured a series of lows for Thompson, who averaged just 17.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.
He shot only 43.2% from the field and 38.7% from the three-point line.
For any other player, those would be impressive numbers but fans expect a lot more from Thompson, who is one of the best shooters in NBA history.
He definitely wasn’t looking like his regular self in 2023-24, but things could change in the months ahead.
There was a time when Thompson was an undeniable threat who could sink a tough shot from anywhere on the court.
If he can perform like that again, Mavericks fans are in for a real treat.
The thought of Thompson shooting well alongside Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving may be downright terrifying to other teams.
The Mavericks were already an offensive threat but could get much tougher because of this signing.
Thompson is eager to prove his detractors wrong and bounce back with a strong revenge season.
He hasn’t counted himself out and thinks his time in Dallas could get off to a great start in a few months.
