It is not everyday that a young NFL player gets high praise from a legendary NBA player.
This is exactly the case with Washington Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels and NBA legend Kevin Durant.
While on Up & Adams recently, Durant, a known Commanders fan, gave a pretty big shoutout to Daniels.
“He’s like the KD of college football…Everybody is rallying around him,” Durant said of the No. 2 overall draft pick.

Durant knows what greatness is all about.
The 14-time All-Star and two-time champion is one of the greatest, most talented scorers in NBA history.
Daniels will be looking to leave his mark on his sport like Durant has on his.
The former Heisman Trophy winner was one of the most electrifying players in college last season while at LSU.
He threw for over 3,800 yards and ran for over 1,100 while playing for Brian Kelly.
The future of the Commanders is now solely placed on his shoulders.
This franchise is entering a new era with him, new head coach Dan Quinn, and a new ownership group leading the way.
Luckily, Daniels will have some veteran skill players alongside of him to help him get more acclimated to the NFL game.
He will be handing the ball off to all-purpose stud Austin Ekeler.
Additionally, he will be throwing passes to Pro Bowl wide receiver Terry McLaurin and three-time Pro Bowl tight end Zach Ertz.
With those names and the talent that Daniels possesses, perhaps he can become the Kevin Durant of the NFL soon.
