Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey are undoubtedly two of the greatest players in Carolina Panthers history.
They were teammates for three years, and though McCaffrey’s surge came after Newton’s peak, they were solid in their time together.
That’s why Newton was miffed at the fact that he wasn’t invited to McCaffrey’s recent wedding.
Talking on his “4th & 1” show, Newton started cracking jokes about how he wasn’t there.
“From the picture it looked like they needed some color anyway,” Newton joked.

Newton claimed that he wouldn’t have been able to make it anyway, but he could’ve at least gotten the happy couple a wedding present.
He later stated that he would’ve crashed the wedding if he had known.
Newton then started poking fun at former teammate and current FOX broadcaster Greg Olsen, who looked like he was having a very good time, to say the least.
The former NFL MVP also jokingly wondered whether the snub had anything to do with his criticism of Brock Purdy, McCaffrey’s current quarterback with the San Francisco 49ers.
Judging by Newton’s attitude, there’s no actual beef or grudge of any sort between the two, and he was just having a good time at his former teammate’s expense.
As for Olsen, given their relationship, he’s most definitely going to have plenty of things to say on his behalf after the way Newton hilariously brought up that picture of him at the wedding.
