The start of NFL free agency was something of a feeding frenzy.

Teams were trying their hardest to land the most coveted players, hoping to steal them away from their competition.

This approach helped teams land a lot of the top players on the board, but with over two months left until kickoff, plenty of marquee players remain unsigned.

One of those players is safety Justin Simmons, who has yet to find his place on a new team.

Ian Rapoport talked about Simmons in a recent segment of The Insiders on the NFL Network, indicating that he might not be a free agent for much longer.

“The time is coming for Justin Simmons, and certainly, teams have been sniffing around for some time,” Rapoport said.

As Rapoport also pointed out, Simmons is tied for the league lead in interceptions since 2019.

He has proven to have a lot of gas left in the tank and is waiting for a new team to scoop him up.

There are plenty of teams in the NFL that could use a player with Simmons’ skill and career experience, but it will have to be the right contractual fit for both parties.

He could go back to a team like the Denver Broncos, but at this point in his career, Simmons might be exclusively searching for a team he believes can win the Super Bowl in the next few seasons.

Who will end up landing Simmons, one of the best safeties in the NFL over the past five seasons?
