It’s that time of year when we have to dig deep for NFL talking points since free agency and the draft are in the rearview mirror, and with those talking points comes excitement as we all start counting down the days to Week 1.

One analyst cooked up a fun talking point and recently praised one team for doing a ton of work to improve this offseason and went so far as to say the “sky’s the limit” for them this upcoming season.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz appeared on Speak and credited the New York Jets for making big improvements to the offense, saying “With a healthy Aaron Rodgers, the sky’s the limit.”

The #Jets did so much to improve their offensive weaknesses from a year ago. With a healthy Aaron Rodgers, the sky’s the limit.

Schultz noted all the additions to the offense that were made this offseason, such as bringing in Morgan Moses and Tyron Smith in free agency to bookend the offensive line while drafting Olu Fashanu in the first round to protect Rodgers as well.

The Jets also signed wide receiver Mike Williams in free agency and drafted Malachi Corley to give Rodgers more weapons outside of Garrett Wilson.

Rodgers’ Achilles injury in Week 1 last season effectively ended any chance the Jets had of being competitive, as Zach Wilson took over and once again proved to be unreliable and inconsistent.

The offensive line was a major concern prior to last season, and it proved to be the team’s undoing right out of the gate.

Now with a fortified line and more weapons, the sky really is the limit for this team.
