Besides making it to the NBA, what do Isaiah Wong, Gui Santos, Aaron Wiggins, Jay Scrubb, and Kyle Guy have in common with Bronny James?

They were all taken No. 55 in the NBA Draft.

However, chances are the average NBA fan didn’t even know who they were, which is what usually happens with No. 55 picks.

That’s clearly not the case with Bronny James.

Bronny wasn’t projected to be drafted for most of the process, and he got more money than the average No. 55 pick, not to mention more touches in the NBA Summer League.

His performance, however, has left those who rooted for him with a bad taste in their mouths.

Bronny had yet another subpar performance in the NBA Summer League, logging 2 points and 3 rebounds on 1-for-5 from the field.

He was 0-for-3 and had a box plus-minus of -21 at halftime (Via Yahoo Sports).

Needless to say, some fans have had enough and started calling him out.

Bronny has been inefficient as a shooter, erratic with the ball in his hands, and his defense prowess hasn’t made an impact.

He was advertised as a pest on defense with a high basketball IQ, and none of that has been on display thus far.

Granted, it’s just Summer League, but people still expected him to show up and dominate, and he’s only shown that he might not have what it takes to make it in the league; not now or ever.

Then again, those who kept track of his game during high school and college are far from surprised, and he was the No. 55 pick for a reason.
