The Minnesota Vikings are facing some questions ahead of next season.
They will return most of their roster, but with Kirk Cousins no longer on the premises, it’ll be either Sam Darnold or J.J. McCarthy running the show.
Needless to say, that might not translate into success, as Darnold is talented but hasn’t found his footing in the league and McCarthy is unproven.
That’s why even though some have high expectations for Kevin O’Connell’s offense, legendary WR Randy Moss isn’t so sure.
Talking to Kay Adams for her Up & Adams Show, the legendary wideout claimed that he was a little worried about the Vikings’ running game.
I think the Vikings could have a top 5 offense this year.
At least I did until yesterday when Randy Moss said not so fastttt.

He believes their passing game will only be able to thrive if HC Kevin O’Connell is able to draw up a solid running game, one that opposing defenses will respect enough to open up things for the passing game.
The Vikings bolstered their running backs corps by signing Aaron Jones, who knows the division like the back of his hand and was one of the most productive backs in the league when healthy, even last season.
Moss’s concerns are valid, and he makes a great point about the running game.
Still, O’Connell is known for his offensive prowess and creativity, and with the kind of weapons they have on offense and their solid offensive line, there’s no reason to think the Vikings can’t find some sort of success when it comes to piling up yards and putting up points on the scoreboard.
