The New York Giants need their quarterback out there and healthy.
Daniel Jones is coming off a down year, and the Giants just got him a prime weapon to get back to the playoffs.
Fortunately for them, it seems like he’s no longer dealing with the ripple effect of yet another neck injury.
Recently, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that he’s doing everything he needs to be doing; running, cutting, and whatnot:
“At this point, I’m doing pretty much everything — running, cutting, everything I need to do,” Jones said, via Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post.

This will be a make-or-break season for Jones.
The Giants could decide to move on from him after this season if he doesn’t ball out.
The decision to stick with him could also cost GM Joe Schoen his job, particularly considering he allowed Saquon Barkley to leave because of this.
The Giants got him one of the most promising wide receiver prospects in recent years, taking LSU star Malik Nabers.
Nabers has drawn comparisons to former LSU products like Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase, and those are some pretty big shoes to fill.
The Giants might struggle to establish the run now that Barkley has left the premises, but their passing game just got a massive bump with Nabers’ arrival.
There were plenty of rumors about whether the Giants would trade up to go after a quarterback in the first round or not, and while they eventually stayed put, the fact that the rumors were out there should be more than reason enough for Jones to know that his job might not be safe right now.
