American athletes will be fighting hard to make their country proud in the upcoming Paris Olympics and many of them will come home with medals.
While Team USA is the favorite to claim gold in traditional basketball, they might not win in 3×3 basketball.
According to ESPN BET, Serbia is the current favorite to win the gold medal in 3×3.
They have +190 odds, while Team USA sits at +210.
Behind them are France (+450), Latvia (+550), Netherlands (+800), Lithuania (+1000), China (+2000), and Poland (+2500).

America’s 3×3 team will consist of Jimmer Fredette, Canyon Barry, Dylan Thomas, and Kareem Maddox.
They will definitely be in the running to win it all but apparetnly Serbia has a team that is a bit more intimdating than the rest.
3×3 basketball is obviously different than traditional ball, played on one half of a basketball court where two teams of three players compete.
Both teams play with the same hoop, depending on who has possession of the ball.
The winner is decided by which team has the highest score at the end of ten minutes or the first team to reach 21 points.
As you can see, 3×3 games are shorter and have much smaller teams.
It requires that teammates work closely together and have incredbily strong chemistry at all times.
3×3 is still a new Olympic event, having been featured for the first time back in 2020 after years of appearing at Youth Olympic Games.
It’s been a hit so far and fans are excited for more 3×3 basketball.
Americans are hoping their team is able to come out triumphant but they will obviously have some tough competition.
