Even though he is 39 years old, LeBron James continues to be one of the best basketball players in the world.

He is gearing up to help Team USA win the Olympic gold medal in basketball and is also preparing for the upcoming season with the Los Angeles Lakers.

While James’ basketball career is still flourishing at 39, there comes a time in every player’s life when they have to think about life after professional sports.

This can be a difficult pill to swallow for many athletes, as they have worked their entire lives to make it in a particular sport.

Even though it might be hard at first for James to leave the sport, Dan Le Batard recently talked about what James’ post-NBA life will be like, indicating that he’ll be just fine, via his show and NBA Central.

“I don’t think people realize that LeBron is going to be so much bigger post-NBA than Michael was,” Le Batard said.

He also said, “It’s going to be crazy to watch what this competitive of a person does against the McAfee’s and Peyton Manning’s and the Tom Brady’s when he gets into the sphere and doesn’t have to actually do basketball anymore.”

James has already gotten a lot of media experience, whether via podcasts, commercials, movies, or anything in between.

He also has major deals with several key brands, giving him revenue streams for the foreseeable future.

James might not have many years left in the NBA, but, at least in Le Batard’s eyes, he will have plenty to do when he exits the league to keep him busy.
