The 2024 NFL season is just around the corner.

And while anything can happen in this league, we can already make our predictions about how some teams might fare next season.

That’s particularly true for those teams that aren’t particularly expected to compete at the highest level.

Some might end up shocking the world, but for now, at least, that doesn’t seem likely.

That’s why it wasn’t much of a surprise to see that the New England Patriots have the highest odds (+375) to finish with the least amount of wins (via ESPN BET).

They’re followed by the Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, Washington Commanders, Las Vegas Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, and New Orleans Saints, respectively.

For the first time in more than two decades, Bill Belichick won’t be with the Patriots, with Jerod Mayo taking the reins as his heir apparent.

They will likely continue to have a solid defense, but their offense is far from one of the best in the league, not to mention the fact that their rookie quarterback might not even play at all in his first season.

On top of that, the Patriots play in one of the most competitive divisions in the league, as the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets should all be in the mix to get a spot in the playoffs.

And with Colorado star QB Shedeur Sanders projected to go No. 1 overall next season, perhaps they could flip that pick to get more draft capital and address the several needs they have.
