After days of subpar performances, Bronny James of the Los Angeles Lakers had a good Summer League game on Wednesday night.
The son of LeBron scored 12 points and sank two three-pointers as well.
On Thursday’s “Undisputed,” Paul Pierce was excited to see how well the young man played.
He believes that James is feeling more confident and that is making all the difference.
“I like how Bronny came out aggressive. Summer League is where you gain confidence,” Pierce said.

Pierce stated that James was likely in his head over the last several games, hearing a constant onslaught of negative criticism about his playing.
But that all changed toward the beginning of Wednesday’s game when he sank his first three.
Pierce believes that gave James the sort of confidence he needed and led the way to a strong performance.
In the end, the Lakers scored their first victory of the Summer League and James had a game to be proud of.
Now people are wondering if this is a turning point for James.
Will he be playing well moving forward or was this just a one-time bright spot?
Pierce said the Summer League is a place for young players to find their shots, build their confidence, and prepare for the regular season.
They don’t always have a great start, just like James, but they can turn things around.
If James is able to post numbers like this every night, he could end up being a helpful asset to the Lakers.
He certainly looked much better on Wednesday so fans are again excited about the sort of player he could be.
