The Jacksonville Jaguars have a lot to prove next season.
They closed out last season on a very low note, and that’s despite being considered a legitimate dark horse to make it to the Super Bowl last year.
With that in mind, the organization released its ‘Prowler Throwback’ uniforms, hoping that looking sharp will make them play sharp as well (via Adam Schefter).

Unfortunately for them, they weren’t met with high praise from the fans.
While they didn’t criticize the threads or claim they weren’t nice, the common sentiment was that they looked just like their regular uniform.

It features the very same colorway, so it’s hard to blame the fans for this.
Whatever the case, winning games will be the only important thing in Jacksonville.
There were high hopes when they hired a Super Bowl-winning head coach like Doug Pederson, and he did wonders with Trevor Lawrence in his first season on the job.
Some have already lost hope in Lawrence, and some think he’s never going to be the top-tier quarterback most of us thought he’d be when he came out of college.
Still, the Clemson product was pretty banged up last season, and getting back to full strength might be just what he needs to continue his improvement from his first season under Pederson’s tutelage.
The Jaguars will play in a much-improved AFC South Division and they’re no longer the favorites, so they’ll have to prove the doubters wrong next season, regardless of what threads they’re wearing.
