Not so long ago, LeBron James shared a tweet stating that his older son, Bronny James, was already better than some of the NBA players he watched on League Pass.
Notably, Bronny hasn’t shown that in high school or college, and that definitely hasn’t been the case in Summer League, either.
That’s not a knock on Bronny by any means, and the sole fact that he decided to pursue a career as a professional basketball player despite being LeBron James’ son speaks volumes about his character.
Then again, some have it and some don’t, and as of now, it seems like he doesn’t have it.
At least, that’s how Stephen A. Smith feels.
In the latest edition of his podcast, he stated that he has no business hitting the court next season unless he improves significantly.

Smith called out LeBron for putting Bronny in this position, not only forcing his way to the Los Angeles Lakers but also by speaking so highly of him when no one was even asking.
He reportedly feels sorry for Bronny about all the pressure he now has on his shoulders, and while he doesn’t wish anything negative on him by any means, he just doesn’t see it yet.
You can’t judge a father for loving his son and being biased about him, but James’ camp didn’t do Bronny any favors.
