The Dallas Cowboys have caused their fans a lot of heartache over the years.

The storied franchise has not made it to the NFC Championship Game since the 1995 season and since then, they have just five playoff wins.

One of their many famous fans who has felt plenty of heartache is Fox Sports host Skip Bayless, who has thrown away every single one of his Cowboys jerseys.

“I threw them all into the trash…That’s how much my heart still hurts,” Bayless recently said on The Skip Bayless Show.

Bayless also noted that he threw all of his jerseys away after Dallas got beat at home by the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers in the first round of the playoffs last January.

Again, this franchise is one of the more storied franchises in the NFL and one of the biggest brands in sports.

But unlike other storied franchises such as the Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers, New England Patriots, and a few others, Dallas has not been able to get back to winning Super Bowls this century.

Owner Jerry Jones is one of the great promoters and businessmen in the league, but he has not been able to build a Super Bowl team since Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, and Michael Irvin were all together.

The heartache and pain of losing in the playoffs when this team was supposed to be dangerous has been too much for a lot of fans, especially Bayless.
