Bronny James of the Los Angeles Lakers received a ton of scrutiny for his first few Summer League performances after missing his first 15 attempts from three-point range and looking like a waste of a second-round pick, but his last two performances have been much better, most recently going 5-for-10 for 13 points in a 93-89 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After the win, Bronny received an interesting gift that sure beats a traditional jersey swap.

Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints shared a video of Bronny receiving a portrait of himself in the form of a rug after the Summer League game.

In the win, Bronny shot 5-for-10, which was his best performance of Summer League so far, including 1-for-3 from three-point range, five rebounds, three assists, and a pair of blocks across 25 minutes of playing time.

This was also the second night of a back-to-back after the Lakers took down the Atlanta Hawks 87-86 in the previous contest, when Bronny shot 5-for-11 for 12 points, including a pair of threes, his first of the summer.

He was the most scrutinized player in the world for a few weeks, but during these last two Summer League games, Bronny has played like the game has slowed down a bit for him and is showing off the traits that made the Lakers believe in him.

Now with this rug hopefully being sported proudly in his house, Bronny’s Summer League win over the Cavs will forever be immortalized and he’ll have fond memories of those 13 points every time he looks at his own face on the ground.
