LeBron James and Stephen Curry made fans happy by competing in the 2024 Olympics in what could be the final time for each of them given their respective ages, and it is giving fans a chance to see perhaps the two most iconic superstars of their generation team up for a few weeks and make magic on the court together.
According to Nick Wright, this won’t be the last time we see the two of them share a court.
FS1’s Nick Wright claimed that “Unless LeBron decides ‘I’m just tired of playing basketball’ and only plays two more years, I think he and Steph are going to be teammates one day.”

Wright said he doesn’t know how or where it gets done, but acknowledged that both are set up to go through “wildly frustrating seasons” given the offseasons the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors have had.
Both the Lakers and Warriors had big ambitions this offseason of bringing in new superstars to compete alongside their existing ones, but both franchises completely struck out and are now looking at a loaded Western Conference without much of a reason to believe they stand a chance competing with the likes of the Dallas Mavericks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Denver Nuggets, and Minnesota Timberwolves.
It appears unlikely LeBron will leave the Lakers anytime soon after he just signed another new contract with them this offseason, not to mention the fact that they just drafted his son.
So, for Wright’s prediction to come true, it would most likely have to result in Steph finding a way to LA.
Maybe Austin Reaves and a 2030 first-round pick swap could get a deal done.
