Arguably the greatest head coach in the history of the NFL is going to be sitting out this season.
Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots parted ways earlier this offseason after almost a quarter-century together.
Of course, the great competitors don’t like to stay on the sidelines for long, which is why Fox Sports’s Colin Cowherd sees the eight-time Super Bowl winner being interested in coaching three teams next season.
“The Beli-check list in my opinion, from what I’ve heard, are three teams: Philadelphia, Dallas, and Buffalo,” Cowherd recently said on The Herd.
Colin Cowherd believes there are only three teams Bill Belichick is eyeing to coach in 2025, with the Bills being the strongest suitor. https://t.co/9oYgiMkevg

All three of these teams have very attractive qualities about them.
The Philadelphia Eagles have won 36 total games (including playoffs) over the last three seasons and have a very complete roster led by Pro Bowl signal-caller Jalen Hurts.
The Buffalo Bills have won the AFC East each of the last four seasons thanks to the leadership of another great quarterback in Josh Allen.
Of course, the Dallas Cowboys are one of the biggest brands in all of sports, and with Jerry Jones’s desire to win another Super Bowl at some point, he may do anything and everything in his power to hire Belichick.
Now, he cannot get hired if the likes of Nick Sirianni, Sean McDermott, and Mike McCarthy are all still in their current positions by the start of the next season.
That is why this season is very important for all three head coaches.
They are looking to win and if they don’t, Belichick is waiting in the wings for his next opportunity.
