The NBA will be well-represented during the 2024 Olympics in Paris as there will be numerous players across the competing countries playing for their respective national teams.
However, all eyes will be on Team USA which is stacked to the brim with star talent.
LeBron James and Stephen Curry are the leaders on the roster, though they also have Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker and Anthony Edwards by their side to carry the load.
There are also the presumed role players like Bam Adebayo, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White to help on both sides of the floor.
So far, Team USA has gone undefeated in exhibition play which is even more impressive considering they’ve been without Kevin Durant who’s been nursing a minor calf injury.
Ahead of their matchup against South Sudan, Durant was ruled out though it looks like he’s inching closer to a return to the court via Joe Vardon of The Athletic.
“Kevin Durant (calf) is not playing for Team USA against South Sudan, sources said. He is on the floor going through pregame work and looks good,” Vardon reported.

Durant was diagnosed with the calf strain early on during Team USA training camp, but it was deemed not serious by the team.
This is good news as Durant is expected to enter the starting lineup once he’s fully healthy, though the Americans have done just fine without him.
However, once he does return it’ll be even harder for opposing countries to slow down Team USA who looks poised to run away with the gold.
