For years, Richie Incognito was considered to be one of the best offensive linemen in the game.

He was an unmovable force and a master at keeping the quarterback safe, and even though he fell from grace later in his career and an off-field scandal took a big toll on his reputation, he’s still one of the best of the past couple of decades.

Needless to say, being such a well-known veteran, Incognito also had his fair share of stellar teammates.

That’s why it wasn’t easy for him to identify who was his favorite quarterback he ever protected in his career.

When asked that in his latest appearance on Maxx Crosby’s ‘The Rush’ podcast, the former offensive lineman thought about it for a couple of seconds.

Eventually, he went with Tyrod Taylor, A.K.A. ‘Ty God,’ stating that they did some damage together with LeSean McCoy as well.

Incognito played for the Buffalo Bills during the pre-Josh Allen era, and there was a time when some thought of Taylor as a potential star as a dual-threat quarterback.

Needless to say, he never took off in the way, say, Allen did, and the Bills were only a Super Bowl-caliber team once the Wyoming product came to fruition.

Now, the Bills are looking to stay relevant and in contention in the AFC, which is going to be easier said than done, especially after parting ways with their top two wide receivers.

As for Taylor, he’s Aaron Rodgers’ backup with the New York Jets.
