The Los Angeles Rams have one of the best head coaches in the game.

Nonetheless, it wasn’t easy for Sean McVay; it’s not like the opportunities were just handed to him.

Being such a young head coach, McVay was in the spotlight right away, and he needed to prove himself to the rest of the world.

That’s why he may have overworked himself.

In a recent interview with The Athletic, McVay admitted that he thought it was actually cool for himself to be able to not sleep and just continue to grind and work (via Robert Mays).

Now that he’s got more experience under his belt, he acknowledges that those who work with other people need to establish healthy habits in order for that success to be sustainable.

He might be young, but those are wise words.

McVay, like all NFL coaches, was a bit of a workaholic, but that’s just no way to cope or deal with life; everybody breaks down at some point.

There were rumors and reports about his exhaustion and even being ready to take some time away from coaching, but that no longer seems to be the case.

The Rams are a bit of a question mark entering the season, especially after losing their defensive anchor in Aaron Donald.

Nonetheless, one thing’s for sure, and it’s that they will always have a chance to compete and do great things for as long as Coach McVay is out there calling the shots, and he needs to have a clear mind to do so.
