Eddie Jackson Reveals Why He Signed With Ravens

After spending the first seven years of his NFL career with the lowly Chicago Bears, veteran cornerback Eddie Jackson seemed to prioritize winning as a free agent during the offseason, and he couldn’t have landed in a better place by signing with the Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens came one win shy of reaching the Super Bowl last season with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs proving to be too much to handle in the AFC Championship Game, resulting in Andy Reid’s squad moving on and John Harbaugh’s team heading home to figure out how to come back better during the 2024 campaign.

The addition of Jackson is definitely a step in the right direction for the Ravens, who could use a boost defensively with the offense being arguably the best in the league or at least in the conversation, especially with superstar running back Derrick Henry now in the mix.

Along with joining a team with Super Bowl aspirations, it seems as though the Ravens and their players have made him feel right at home after signing his deal with the franchise recently, which clearly has made him a happy man moving forward via the Ravens’ Twitter account.

“It felt like I’m right at home,” Jackson said.

With the Ravens addressing both sides of the football this offseason, it’ll be interesting to see if this team has enough to get over the hump and take down the Chiefs if they end up facing them in the NFL playoffs.

As of right now, the Ravens are considered to be legitimate title contenders, but it remains to be seen how things come together during the season for Baltimore.
