Celebrities and athletes often have opportunities to give back to their fans and local communities.
Whether it’s a meet-and-greet, an interaction in-person, or via social media, both parties seem to benefit.
Anthony Davis recently had an opportunity to make a fan’s day after Team USA’s recent win over Serbia.
As the NBA recently shared via Clutch Points, Davis was seen giving a headband to a fan shortly after coming up with a big win.

Davis has been one of the United States’ biggest assets on the court to this point but with this action, he might have just gained a lot of extra fans around the globe.
Athletes can sometimes come across as entitled due to their socioeconomic status, but Davis’ move in this situation showcased his ability to interact with fans and to get on their level.
Memorabilia like what Davis gave away to this fan can be worth a lot of money, and while Davis could have auctioned this off, he decided to give it to a fan.
With all of this in mind, and while this is a fantastic gesture by Davis, he and his Team USA teammates are gearing up for the Olympics, which are just around the corner.
Team USA has had a few scares to this point in a few preliminary games, but at the end of the day, the Olympics are where the money meets the road.
The United States has historically been dominant in these games, but it remains to be seen how they’ll fare this year.
