After making a name for himself and winning a Super Bowl title with the Kansas City Chiefs, superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill desired a lucrative long-term deal to make him one of the highest-paid players at his position in the NFL.

With the Chiefs unwilling to pay Hill what he believed he was worth, the storied franchise traded him to the Miami Dolphins in a move that no one saw coming, as it was thought the young wideout would retire in Kansas City, with the same being said about fellow superstars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.

As a result of the Chiefs trading Hill to the Dolphins, many believed that Kansas City might start to struggle offensively, and the up-and-coming wideout wouldn’t be the same game-changer in Miami as he was with his previous team.

The narrative was that Hill’s transition from Mahomes to Tua Tagovailoa would not go well, but the complete opposite happened, as Hill was able to remain one of the elite receivers in the game and even took his game to another level.

With Hill now desiring another long-term deal after years of success in Miami, the contract negotiation begins again, but this time, the superstar doesn’t want to be traded, which he made clear in this press conference via Safid Deen of USA Today.

“I want to be in Miami,” Hill says.

With Hill being a big part of why the Dolphins are now considered to be a legitimate Super Bowl title contender, the team would be wise to play him whatever he’s asking for, as he’s definitely worth the money.

The Dolphins recently signed star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle to a contract extension, and it’s safe to assume they’ll do the same with Hill.
