The Houston Rockets have struggled to gain traction in recent years.

They haven’t made the playoffs since the 2019-2020 season, an indication that the years post-James Harden haven’t been the kindest to the franchise.

While this might cause some franchises to throw in the towel, the Rockets aren’t going down without a fight.

Adding players like Dillon Brooks is a step in the right direction, as he is a budding star who is ready to take this team to the next level.

Brooks is hard at work preparing to help Team Canada at the Olympics, but in the meantime, he had an interview with FIBA shared by Clutch Points on Twitter.

When asked about the hardest opponents to guard, Brooks answered with “Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Andrew Nembhard.”

Gilgeous-Alexander is a teammate of Brooks on Team Canada, and for once, it’s nice to have him on the same roster.

During the regular season, the two Canadians are forced to duke it out, and according to Brooks, he is a very tough player to guard.

The same goes for Nembhard, also a teammate for the Olympics.

Nembhard doesn’t necessarily have the name recognition that Gilgeous-Alexander has, but it’s clear that Brooks respects his game.

Lastly, Doncic is seen as one of the most difficult players to guard by opponents across the league, so, unsurprisingly, Brooks has him on his list.

Can Brooks, Nembhard, and Gilgeous-Alexander help lead Team Canada to a deep run in the Olympics?
